Key Club Students Earn Honors

Over the weekend 26 CHS Key Clubbers attended their District Convention in Seattle along with about 1,500 other Key Clubbers. The Pacific Northwest Key Club district runs from Alaska to northern California, including northern Idaho. There are about 350 Key Clubs in the district. The CHS Key Club, led by president Nick Jaech, came home with six awards and honors--more than any other club!
  1. Best Key Club Video--created by Kelly Wourms;
  2. Best Club Scrapbook--created by Mikayla  Lindstrom;
  3. Most Service Hours by the Top 6 Club Volunteers--CHS's top six volunteers had a total over 1,000 hours of volunteer;
  4. Outstanding Club Advisor - Mrs. Rosemary Knapp;
  5. Convention Spirit Award for enthusiasm and leadership; and
  6. Sophomore Ariel Orasud was elected District Treasurer.
It was a great weekend to be a CHS Key Clubber!
